A UC Santa Barbara graduate with a Statistics and Data Science B.S and double emphasis in applied and theoretical statistics. I am passionate about leveraging machine learning and statistical analytics to provide key insights and solutions for real-world problems. Be it through my research in exploratory data analysis highlighting at-risk communities in Meghalaya during the Covid crisis, or utilizing monte-carlo simulations to optimize clients’ portfolio performance, I strive to have a problem centric approach in having impactful work. When I’m not busy with school or research I’m a budding chef, a mediocre surfer, and a laid-back ukulele player. Growing up around my family’s cultural mixing pot of Polynesian, Brazilian, French, and Chinese backgrounds, I have internalized that lessons can come from anyone and anywhere and thus, am always open to learning. Moreover, good food, good company, and one’s relationship with Nature are core tenets of what I believe make life a great adventure. I look forward to connecting with you!
